Structure and financing

Slow Food Illes Balears is an independent, non-political, not-for-profit organisation. It was registered in February 2007 in the official registry of associations of the Balearic Government. It is made up of a heterogeneous group of people with very diverse skills who have a close relationship with food: artisan producers, farmers, fisherfolk, bakers, agronomists, scientists, cooks, creatives, educators, journalists, film-makers... They all share a common interest: responsible consumption.

The association has developed so far thanks to volunteer work repliki zegarków and has been funded by the group itself. Specific funding has been obtained for each project, mostly using our own resources, with occasional support from local institutions.

We work under the premise ‘minimum means, maximum efficiency’, with a light structure which has allowed large projects to be carried out quickly using little resources, following a spirit of neutrality, creativity and service.

There are also many supporters whose specific contributions are many and varied. In fact, they are the main resource base and the motor of the group, which has sparked great interest and signs of support from the local community from the beginning.
